After a three year break due to Covid-19, the IPPS (Conference team The BioComposites Centre, Bangor University) organisation team has resumed meeting experienced delegates in the charming Victorian seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales, County Conwy. The IPPS (International Plate Products Symposium) is the leading technical conference on wood based panels, including all aspects of panel production technology, feedstocks, resins and additives, market analysis and the use of wood based panels in furniture and construction applications.
The conference was visited by Prof. Bartłomiej Mazela, PhD - Project Manager of the CellMat4ever project, who presented a paper entitled: Two-layer wood-based composite with fire-resistant cellulose-carbon core in the session on 'zero waste and closed-loop economy'.
