The direction of development of modern material technologies is, among others, replacing synthetic resins with natural binders. This trend is observed in case of materials based on cellulose fibres. An even more ambitious task was undertaken by the creators and implementers of the CellMat4ever project. As part of this project, Polish and Norwegian scientists are carrying out research on the production of a cellulose-based material with innovative properties. The new material is characterized by reduced flammability and, at the same time, increased water resistance.
